Current Major champions Cloud9 has been officially confirmed on the IEM Sydney team list.
Shortly after mousesports' invitation a couple of days ago, ESL announced the North American side as the fifth team to compete at the $250,000 Australian event on May 1-6.
Cloud9 will be looking to improve on their results following a few disappointing exits recently at StarSeries i-League Season 4, IEM Katowice, and WESG World Finals.
IEM Sydney will be the eighth event in consideration for the Intel Grand Slam, which will award a whopping $1 million prize to the first team that wins four out of ten premier events hosted by ESL and DreamHack.
